Natural Ointments: Clean Alternatives for Your Skincare

In Mexico, the word "pomada" is often associated with pharmaceutical products that smell strong, contain medication, or are made with petroleum derivatives. Many of these ointments contain petrolatum, mineral oil, menthol, camphor, corticosteroids, or antibiotics, and although some have therapeutic functions, not all are suitable for daily cosmetic use.

But not all ointments are the same.

There are also natural ointments, formulated without drugs or harsh ingredients, designed to safely hydrate, protect, and regenerate the skin, even in sensitive areas like lips, face, or hands.

At Maxalli, we have developed two natural and effective options:

1. Natural Multi-purpose Petroleum Jelly

A plant-based ointment that replaces traditional petroleum jelly, but without petrolatum or mineral oils.
Contains:

Cocoa butter
Castor oil
Vitamin E

Ideal for lips, tattoos, hands, dry areas, a natural glow on cheekbones, or even as an ointment for styling eyebrows or baby hairs. It has a gloss-like shine effect and provides intense protection without a heavy feeling.

2. Natural Repairing Balm

A lighter ointment, with a silky texture, focused on regeneration and nourishment.
Contains:

Rosehip oil
Vitamin E
Liposoluble Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate)

Designed for skin that needs repair without harshness, such as face, eye contour, dry hands, or areas affected by the weather. It contains no fragrance or color, and leaves a more subtle finish than petroleum jelly.
