Copal derives from copalli, a Nahuatl term for many aromatic resins that come from very diverse trees (pines, firs, burseras, etc.). Since pre-Hispanic times, copal has been used as a sacred offering. Its smoke purifies, connects with the spiritual, and evokes deep calm. In our deodorant, this same copal —recreated with more sustainable molecules and essential oils— provides a mystical note of incense, woody and warm, that transforms your daily routine into a small personal ritual.  According to Mesoamerican religious thought, this aromatic smoke fostered the bond between humans and the deities who owned and ruled nature.

Tamarind: tropical freshness with history

The history of tamarind in Mexico begins during the colonial period when it arrived with the Spanish in America; its cultivation was so successful that it spread throughout the tropical areas of the country, especially on the Pacific slope. Tamarind has been part of traditional Mexican medicine for centuries, used for its refreshing and digestive properties. But its sweet-sour aroma of caramel and dried fruit also awakens childhood memories, of sticky sweets and summer drinks. In this fragrance, it balances the depth of copal with a vibrant spark that energizes and brightens.
